Food of Love

Posted on

      1. Let's Fall In Love

A way to someone’s heart is through his/her stomach? I’m a big believer of this saying. With Valentine’s day just around the corner, I’m choosing Food of Love (aphrodisiac food) as this month’s main theme. For all the single people out there, don’t despair! I will test out many recipes then pick out the most potent ones to share with you so that hopefully you can charm someone you love 🙂

Since this is the first time I’m posting a ‘MusicMenu’, let me quickly tell you what it is- MusicMenu is where I come up with a multi-course meal then pair each dish with a song according to the theme of the month or my mood of the moment. The links to the recipes will be available as soon as I post them throughout the month. Since this month’s theme is Food of Love, I’ve paired chocolaty, cinnamony dishes with love songs that range from a romantic classical piece to a Chinese pop song about love. I hope you enjoy it!

I smell love in the air, do you?

For me, love isn’t all about love between couples, there are many kinds of love – love for your parents, love for your friends, love for your pets, love for your favorite cupcake, last but not least love for yourself, which I think is the first and most important step in finding love and happiness.

What do you like to cook or play for your loved ones?
